FERAL considers how we socialise boundary control through binary excesses of language and exclusion. What repulses or attracts us within specific social circumstances and what ostracises us with excess? How is the body measured by race, aesthetics and normalcy? and how do performances of feral interfere with protocols of power?
Schmick sits on the unceded lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation within the historic neighbourhood of Chinatown. The area has a proud history but it has also hidden and revealed some of Sydney's more feral or nefarious operations.
