What Colour is a Mirror

Silver is the closest thing we can come to non-colour, which is to say all colours, which is to say light.

Silver is reflective, it is a solid made fluid.

Sliver is like white except white is still solid, you cannot have fluid white but you can have fluid silver.

Fluidity is not being or having been, if both words are thought of in the static state, it is the movement between anything and it is constant.

Flux is the most dependable thing.

Therefore silver is the most reliable colour.

Silver is rebecoming, retracting, refracting, reflexing.

It is valuable because it has weight but not heft.

It’s almost like it's the closest we get to holding atmosphere.

Milla Watts currently practices in Gadigal/Sydney. Her multi-directional practice is fuelled by shifting energy that dictates her process of making where nothing is neutral. Sometimes the making happens and the thought comes later.  It’s more about where the process will lead you than the result. It’s more about what you feel than what you think.
